Pleasant and little place to stay while in Taunton. The location was stunning and handy, for example, Makers was within walking distance of the hotel. Moreover, the area was nice enough. There's a bus station close to the property

Its location was indeed marvellous and unbeatable and only 5 minutes walk from a fortified castle. It was clean, I would stay there again.

good room but kitchen needs improvement
The room itself was clean and tidy, with good modern furnishings, made it inviting. I appreciated the friendly nature of the staff, who were always willing to assist.
The kitchen facilities were not well maintained, which affected my cooking experience.

Clean rooms but quite noisy throughout the night from other guests.

Clean economy triple room with friendly staff. The location was convenient, being midway between the railway station and cricket ground. The fridge in the room was a welcome touch, especially since there was no dining on-site. I recommend The Shed for breakfast after 9 am, a short walk away, while The Ale House offers good pub grub nearby.

Great location and friendly staff
The staff were friendly. The room was decent and clean, with a fridge that was a lifesaver for my dietary needs. The noise from the road was a bit bothersome at night, so earplugs might be a good idea for light sleepers.
